How It Works

Because our focus is on efficiency and deliverables, we bill on a subscription basis instead of 6-minute increments. In our experience, this is a relief to both clients and attorneys. We also do not bill for meals or photocopying.

To make sure that you get the full benefit of your subscription every month, we work with each client to set up a prioritized project queue. Whenever you don't have any specific work requests, we put ourselves to work on the queue.

Since you aren't locked into a subscription level, it's easy to find the level that provides the best fit. If you are unsure about your needs, we recommend starting at a slightly higher level first. That way, we can finish off the high-priority projects quickly and then downshift, as opposed to starting too slowly and generating an ever-growing backlog of work.

What if I have an emergency and need more than my budgeted time?

We will leap to your rescue. You are ours to protect. For a time after the crisis has passed, we might take it easy until the math is right again.

If you consistently need more than you have subscribed for, we may ask you to upgrade your subscription level or reduce your work requests.

Subscription Levels

For each level, imagine that a part-time attorney will show up at your office. That's just the quantity of work to expect. You get our entire team (with one or two people taking the lead) and we do not show up at your doorstep.

Large. What you would expect from a full-time employee.
Medium. What you would expect from a half-time employee.
Small. What you would expect from someone who comes in one day a week.
Micro. What you would expect from someone who comes in one afternoon a week.

We work on month-to-month contracts, so you can change or cancel anytime by giving notice 30 days before the start of the month.
